Diversity includes everyone; specifically, it is the unique combinations of human characteristics of self and others.
Diversity is the foundation of Cultural Competence
Cultural competence is the ability of individuals and organizations to effectively understand and address the unique perspectives and health needs of all populations.
  1. Growth - Accelerate growth in multicultural workforce population through integrated business and marketing strategies, and by leveraging our Employee Resource Groups and Diversity Business Councils.
  2. Workforce - Internal and External - Build and sustain an environment of inclusion with a workforce that reflects Florida's communities.
  3. Education and Programs - Improve and develop culturally relevant educational programs and material to meet the needs of our diverse marketplace and increase our level of cultural competence.
  4. Service - Develop end-to-end multicultural capabilities to provide culturally competent and linguistically appropriate services to our employees and customers.
  5. Infrastructure - Data and Performance Management - Identify and build the metrics necessary to measure outcomes of cultural competence and diversity initiatives.

Diversity Business Council
Mission: To promote cultural competence at Incepture through demonstrated leadership and employee behaviors that value individual differences and ultimately: 1) create a more inclusive work environment; 2) contribute to attracting a more diverse customer base; 3) contribute to attracting a more diverse workforce; and 4) develop alliances and businesses that demonstrate cultural competence.


Mentoring for personal and professional development
Our mentoring program is one way we strengthen our culture of inclusiveness, retain top talent and prepare for the future.

The program gives selected employees the opportunity to develop leadership skills; enhance professional competencies; increase understanding of business operations; and gain exposure to diverse perspectives of the company, employees and the people we serve. After a rigorous selection process, each employee is matched with a mentor, who shares his or her business expertise, helps the mentee build a professional network, acts as a sounding board and guides the mentee in shaping career goals.

Participants have been generous with their feedback, providing testimony to how the program supports personal and professional development for both the mentor and mentee.
