Well, Sara apparently was not thoroughly disappointed with my initial foray into the world of bloggery, so I’m back for more. It has been quite a hectic time here at Incepture, but in a very good way. We are partnering with a number of great new clients here in Jacksonville and around the country. We are also in the process of moving into brand-spanking new offices to make room for all of our growing staff and provide for continued expansion. In order to do this, of course, it means we have to winnow though the things we have accumulated in our individual spaces, sort them out, and pack up what we absolutely need to have in our new locale. This gives you a chance to review the utility of things in your work world. Do I still need that left-handed screwdriver that I won as an 8th grade Mathlete? How about the condiment packs that are so handy (several of which are so old that the expiration date is in Roman numerals?)
Seriously though, the sorting and prioritizing process gives me a chance to look at the big picture as well to review what I do, how I do it, and what tools do I use/need to improve on? Am I on the right path? Do I feel energized and alive? Is this the place to be? The answer to all is a resounding ‘yes.’ As I was philosophical, I see Incepture as a great and vibrant place to work with a dynamic team that is ready to move forward and create a future of limitless possibility. I’m looking forward to the move and getting settled in a great new space.
